the skirl of the wind…

on the beach
on the beach

I saw you on the beach today
standing by the pilings
between the land and the waves
where grey mist swirls and sand flees dance
to the skirl of the wind
through the pipes of the pier.

  1. Hilary, I love the atmosphere you have created with this doodle, which nicely captures the melancholy of Tom’s poem.
    Lovely!
