Houyi collects his prize

Now that Houyi had solved the problem of too many suns and the burnt earth was beginning to heal, he went to collect the prize (of his own choosing) from the people. “What do you wish?” “Gold or gems?”, suggested one. “Delicious meals for the rest of your life?”, suggested another…

Well, this image took a little while – I wanted lots of detail and people in there. The other reason is that my life has become unsettled for work reasons and so it’s harder to concentrate on this. However, I plan to keep it up and definitely to finish the rabbit on the moon story! Hopefully I’ll be able to make my updates more regularly… stay posted!

    Lovely image! The greens and warm colours are a great contrast to the harsher hues of the previous images in the series.
