Not waiting to see if it was indeed Houyi, awakened from his hypnosis or one of his henchmen, she realized that the only way to keep the elixir of immortality from Houyi forever was to swallow it herself. The thought of eternity alone suddenly overwhelmed her.

  2. Yes, well let’s imagine that Chang’e (like 99.9% of the population) is not quite like you – lol – I guess I was thinking that there is a qualitative difference in how you think about something which is theoretically possible and something which is about to happen…

  3. Hilary, Just finally cathching up with the story….I find both the images and prose beautiful, and I agree , it really looks lovely when you do the page layout.
    Now hurry and finish the story, I want to know what happens!
