what if – part 4…

completely dazzled!

After reading Tom’s most recent Seuss-ian poetic offering (see previous comments) I immediately had this image in my head of Cindy Lou listening enthralled to tales from the stranger’s travels. I have a sketch from one of those tales started as well, but even though I’m having way too much fun doing these drawings, one per day is all I can manage!

Here’s a link to a random amusing strip from Patches. (Maybe particularly amusing for some of my friends…) Enjoy!

what if – part 3…

googly eyes...

And we’re off on another crazy literary romp led by Tom Radcliffe in the comments… Thanks Tom!

I thought we’d just pause before heading off to help out the Grinch with his home decorating troubles – or whatever it was. Obviously Cindy Lou wanted to get dressed up to impress the handsome stranger – and his morse… I think they make a cute trio!

today’s doodle – what if – part 2…

Mount Crumpet Estates!

Following on from last week… what if the evil Cindy Lou is a successful developer who is working over the beautiful natural features of Who-ville for her own benefit?!  And who could that possibly be riding out to the sales office on a horned wannabeast?

This image is not exactly what I had in my mind – I still have to hone my skills to get there… one day!

Here’s a link to someone who has his skills already completely coordinated! Although it’s just getting started, it is interesting enough to keep one tuned while the story unfolds – check out reMIND! … and there’s a cat! (sort of)…

UPDATE: To be entertained by a Seuss inspired commentary… you won’t be disappointed if you check the second instalment of our little story in the comments!

today’s doodle – what if…

Cindy Lou who??

I have come down with one of those spring colds… blargh! and hacgh! anyway, as a result I have not been doodling and so I was looking through old doodles for something to post and found this one. Did Cindy Lou Hoo grow up evil?? She looks strangely Grinch-like!… very suspicious hmmm…

…checking out the poetic response in the comments is highly recommended!
