Another junco! This one is really full of personality. When I am out in the garden, these guys often stop and give me the eye – “what are you doing in our garden?” …but in a friendly way. lol
I have a work in progress that also features juncos but instead of a 4×4 mini, it is a 24×36 piece. It is taking some time so it might be a while before I share.

The first in my next series of mini paintings celebrating small creatures. There are always lots of juncos around our garden and hanging out in the trees around. Even when you don’t see them, their characteristic tchip, tchip, tchip call is all around. What better subject for this series?
I have just started to have some paintings in a local gallery. I dropped this one off on Tuesday and it has already sold! 🙂
